We aren't landlocked, as we have a private road from the hollow to the top of the mountain - connecting you to 90 miles of off-road trails.
30 Minutes from Charleston, WV
Our 4 BR log home for rent can sleep up to 15, and has a full kitchen, living room, 40-foot porch (with swing) and large covered patio for grilling and games. And yes, (sadly?) we have internet service. There are 3 full baths and city water.
Biking, hiking and kayaking!
Within two miles from our log cabin in woods, you can access the Elk River for fishing, kayaking and an old-world swimming hole! Just 5 miles away you connect to the Elk River Rail Trail, a biking and hiking trail that follows the twists and turns of Elk River for 28 miles.
Camping? Of course!
There are 5 acres of open pastures and meadows with 35 acres of woods. Speaking of meadows, you and 50 of your closest friends could pitch tents in either meadow or rough it up in the woods. For hunters you can reserve the property for deer, bear, turkey and squirrel.
Quiet, Peaceful Solitude
Once you enter our serene and secluded property the quiet and solitude take over and stress and anxiety dissipate. You can read those books that have been piling up - or write one! Enjoy the serenity as night falls, roast Smores in the 25-foot campfire ring and stargaze like you never can in big cities.
